Strain of microorganism Lactobacillus fermentum ME-3 as novel antimicrobial and antioxidative probiotic
This microorganism has been discovered by estonian scientists from Tartu University - M. Mikelsaar and M.Zilmer. It can be named as a Estonian first probiotic lactic acid bacteria, moreover it is the only known high antioxytantive probiotic in the world.

Reduces the risk of food-borne infections: suppresses the enteropathogens in dairy products and intestinal tract and increases the amount of useful lactobacilli.It can be used also during antimicrobial treatment by fluoro-kinolones, metronidasole and biseptole
Reduces the risk of atheroclerosis: decreases the level of atherogenic oxidized LDL, enhances LDL bioquality and antioxidative potency of blood serum.
